Why Should You Join the ARBA?

The New York Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Association is an official non-profit organization that promotes purebred rabbits in the state. The ARBA has a growing number of youth members, who attend a variety of events and have the chance to win scholarships. The organization encourages youths to become involved in rabbit and cavy showmanship, which promotes critical thinking and character development.
The ARBA’s mission is to unify rabbit hobbyists and promote the rabbit and cavy industries. Its members participate in rabbit and cavy shows nationwide. It also publishes a bi-monthly publication. The organization has a long history and traces its roots back over a century. In 1910, it was established in response to the popularity of the Belgian hare, a domestic rabbit.
