The 50th Force Support Squadron organized the 13th annual Children’s Spring Fling event on April 12, 2019. The event included a petting zoo, bounce houses, caricaturists, balloon art, and more. Participants also enjoyed a free lunch.
The event is part of Schriever Air Force Base’s mission to provide support to Airmen and their families. During the spring and summer, the base hosts several activities, such as a family 5K fun run, a Chiefs and Eagles softball game, a four-person mountain bike race, and a group softball tournament. There is also a cultural diversity event and a Holocaust Remembrance speaker. There is also an annual car and motorcycle show that provides entertainment for the entire family.
